PPS Spring Ball
PPS host an annual spring ball for all members: both students and staff alike. This is the biggest event of the year with over 400 attendees - a great excuse to don a fancy gown and celebrate the end of another year of university. To build excitement, a secret theme is voted on by committee, with previous years consisting of: A Banquet on Mount Olympus, Midnight at the Moulin Rouge, and Starry Night.
Arrival and Theme
Venue
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a complimentary drink, as well as access to the venue’s bar. Our hand-selected drinks ensure you will only be the enjoying the finest. The venue’s ballroom will be adorned with on-theme decorations - an added touch to make your evening magical. Professional photographers are ready to capture lifelong memories, musicians to accompany your meal, all ending with an awards ceremony to celebrate the student’s achievements.
Three-Course Meal
The venue provides a three-course fine dining meal, with options that cater to all dietary requirements. Tables are pre-allocated and carefully decorated, featuring custom favours and decorations for you to keep. Complimentary bottles of wine are provided on tables to accompany your meal.
Favours
Custom favours are crafted especially for you to cherish and keep. They consist of on-theme trinkets such as a custom magnet, key ring, and a cup. All have bespoke designs curated by our committee. PPS want your night to be memorable: what better way to do this than with favours that last a lifetime.
A band is booked to perform during the meal service, playing for you as you enjoy your meal with friends. We cannot encourage you more to let the music sweep you off onto the dancefloor. After the encore, the DJ takes over. Bust out your greatest moves and sing your heart out to a handmade playlist by PPS, specifically built around the theme.

After-Party
For those who do not want the night to end (we do not blame you), an after-party is organised by the PPS committee. Hosted at a bar of PPS’ choosing, you will be dancing until you drop. It is a great way to properly say goodbye to the committee of old and welcome to your new PPS team.
